CASTLE PUB (Enclave)

Project description:

The development is a 32-storey landmark building, designed to act as a gateway to the surrounding cluster of residential and commercial developments while providing direct, convenient access to North Acton Underground station. The scheme demonstrates a highly efficient construction programme, completing in just 18 months from site mobilisation through to practical completion, including all preparatory works and the construction of a two-level basement.

The design maximises the site’s potential while carefully responding to the existing urban context, integrating high-quality residential accommodation with functional circulation and amenity spaces. From an MEP perspective, the building incorporates fully coordinated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within a constrained city-centre footprint, ensuring efficient operation and occupant comfort. The two-level basement presented particular challenges for services distribution, including plant rooms, drainage, and fire protection systems, all of which were carefully designed and installed to meet programme and regulatory requirements.

This project highlights how modern construction techniques and precise service coordination can deliver technically complex, high-rise buildings efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
