Project description:
Completed in just 18 months, Mapleton Crescent was Europe’s tallest volumetric residential building at the time, delivering 89 apartments in an area of high housing demand. The 27-storey south London tower features a mix of apartment types, 60% of which are affordable. Its slender form, clad in varying textures of aqua-green glazed terracotta, quickly drew national recognition, earning RIBA London and National Awards in 2019 for its innovative design and architectural quality.
